This 6-day, 5-night route seamlessly merges the stunning volcanic geography of El Salvador with the historical and cultural richness of Guatemala. It is a journey for those seeking active adventure, a deep cultural immersion, and a perfect transition through the heart of Central America. Our theme, "Ascent of Fire," celebrates the dormant giants that have shaped the land and the resilience of the cultures that flourish on their slopes.
El Salvador is situated on the Volcanic Arc, a chain of active and extinct cones that defines its landscape and enriches its soil, creating the famous "black gold": coffee. Our journey begins in this land of peaks and craters before crossing into Guatemala, the cradle of the Maya civilization and home to **Antigua**, a colonial jewel frozen in time, and the mystical **Lake Atitlán**, an ancient caldera surrounded by colossal volcanoes and K’iche’ and Kaqchikel indigenous towns. This extended expedition is a tribute to the historical and geographical connection between these two sister nations.
